Initially, when "A Shot of Love with Tila Tequila" was first on TV, I admit, I was absolutely enthralled in every show. I loved seeing Tila go on and on about how she's bisexual, how Vanessa and Brandi would fight and try to kill each other, people would laugh at Dominico's over the top umm... foreign goofiness? It was all there. Now... ehhh, not as much. In the feature I did for Moviemans Guide (my top 40 tv shows of 2007), I went on and on about how it's pure popcorn and it is, it really is. It's an dating show where an hot chick chooses an significant other from 16 boys and 16 girls and has theme compete in bizarre sex themed contests to win her heart. But like I said, it's not quite the same the second time around. I knew who win and instantly, I was less interested and even disgusted at how some things went down. BUT I've seen it before. If you haven't seen it, I can actually recommened it if you like reality shows.

It's dramatic, it's cruel at times, and it's genuinely funny and of course, there are an lot of hot people to oggle. Good trash tv.

All we have here is an bunch of deleted scenes and extended scenes. They're all just kind of meh. They're all so kinda random that you really can't tell that they WEREN'T in the show. What we really needed was some kind of featurette about how the show was put together and how things are now. We also get the Reunion Special that aired but one trip to Wikipedia and I found out, an LOT of things that happened on that Reunion changed not soon after. Features are okay, but just great lacking.

The video quality is better than when it aired on MTV but nothing amazing and the sound is equally as in the middle. An handful of somewhat dated popsongs appear throughout the series but none of them sound like they're in an great sound system or anything. Good but not great.

"A Shot of Love with Tila Tequila" is good as far as dating reality shows go and if you're an fan of trash tv, i can wholeheartedly recommend it. if you don't like this kind of thing, stay far, far, away though!
